Did you ever wonder how companies send these marketing messages? Maybe you’ve also already questioned yourself about where authentication codes come from and how they arrive so fast? It could also be that you’ve asked yourself who sends these appointment reminders on your phone and how they can benefit healthcare institutions?
Well, I’ve asked myself these questions before, and I am now proud to say that I have an answer to all of these.
I started my internship at Spryng in August 2021. In all honesty, at first I didn’t know what to expect from this internship. After a couple of interviews with different employees from the company, I knew the internship was going to be challenging. But who doesn’t like challenges? For me, taking this Sales, Marketing and Communication internship at Spryng was a way to enter the working life and get some experience in various fields.
During this internship, I get to take part in many activities.
Regarding the sales aspect, I am considered as a French intern which means that I work in collaboration with the Belgian/French team of Spryng. I help the Country manager and the Business development manager of Belgium in their daily activities. For example, I call prospects who created an account on our platform to provide them with an overview of our services, conduct research on companies that might be interested in working with us and contact the relevant organizations.
In the marketing department, the aim is to push forward the image of Spryng by creating posts for both Instagram and LinkedIn pages. This is probably the most creative part of the internship as I come to create blog posts and infographics, and I get to present my ideas to the team.
The third and last aspect of my internship is the communications/support field in which I answer calls or emails from clients who have questions or remarks about something, and follow up on their demands to provide them with the best service possible.
In all activities I am involved like any other employee at Spryng. To be clearer, I participate in all team meetings, whether it is a weekly meeting with all the employees, a team meeting with the Belgian/French team or a Marketing meeting. In all consultations everyone is invited to share their thoughts, brainstorm ideas and vote on the best possible solutions.
But of course, working at Spryng is not only about working and more working. Spryng is a company that cares about each and every employee. A lot of attention is put into employees’ well-being by collaborating with companies involved in mental health like OpenUp; team spirit is seen through everyone’s help with each other; and team building is supported by everyday lunch breaks together and grabbing after-work drinks with colleagues. Events like partnerships, new team members or Holidays are also always celebrated.
The work environment is ideal, both when it comes to the workspace as the office is located at De Hallen, but also the friendly and supportive staff.
Simply put, my internship at Spryng has been a great success!
