Just a normal day at the office

Let me take you to a day at the office at fonQ. I start my day at 7:00 in Amsterdam. I pack my things and travel to Utrecht, where the fonQ head office is located. Most of the times, I arrive at 8:30 o’clock. I unpack my bag and talk to my co-workers about their previous evening or day for a while. Then I open my laptop and check the email of fonQ. It is my task to check whether customers have sent emails to this address with questions and sometimes respond to them or redirect them to the customer service. After this, I check Flowbox where you see all the Instagram posts with fonQ tagged in it. I respond to these posts and ask if they are okay with their post being used for the fonQ Pinterest. Often, these responds don’t take too long but while waiting for these I start with another task. I start to process the information of customers of fonQ that have moved recently and informed PostNL about this. Via the website of PostNL I can adjust this information in the accounts of the customers on the website of fonQ and add everything to an excel sheet. The reason for doing this is because these customers will receive a discount in their email because they have recently moved. Now, it is time to have lunch. I will have lunch with all the employees of Marketing or with the other interns and often go on a short walk to get some fresh air. After lunch, we get back to work. Sometimes I have a meeting with my internship supervisor or with the other interns to work on our project together. When this is finished, I will start to work on the Pinterest posts for fonQ. I end my day often with filling in the results of the newsletters in an excel sheet with the help of Google Analytics. At 17:00 o’clock I will go home again and have had an efficient working day at fonQ.
