Their clientele includes renowned brands like Zara Home and The Body Shop, as well as luxury hotel chains such as The Mandarin. But it doesn’t stop there! Their sensory experience extends to spaces as varied as nursing homes and car dealerships. Whatever type of venue, chances are big that ScentAir is behind the scenes, elevating experiences with their scent solutions.
During my time interning as a digital marketer at ScentAir, I delved deep into the fascinating world of scents and their impact on consumer behavior. I learned about the science of scent and how different fragrances can evoke specific emotions, contributing to a brand’s identity. The smell of lavender is good for relaxing, the smell of lemons and lime insinuates cleanliness, while the smell of patchouli exudes luxury. It was intriguing to discover how a carefully chosen scent can strengthen customer relationships with a brand, making their experience not just pleasant but uniquely memorable.
My responsibilities were pretty diverse. I played a significant role in managing our social media content, where I applied my creativity and marketing skills to engage with our audience effectively. The main platform I worked with was Linkedin. A social media platform which I was pretty unfamiliar with before my internship. During my internship, I quickly realized how such a platform can do incredible wonders for your professional career. If you don’t have an account yet – make sure to create one! Another one of my responsibilities involved the optimization of the website’s search engine rankings. Through applying some SEO strategies, I tried to enhance ScentAir’s visibility online to make it easier for potential leads to discover our services. This was one of my most challenging tasks as it requires a deep understanding of the algorithms and constant adaption. Also, it can take awhile before you see any results so you have to be patient as well.
