Hello network!
My name is Matteo Picco and I’m about to finish my internship at 433. For those who still don’t know the company, 433 is a media company based in Amsterdam that creates and shares content around the world of football. 433 is present on all the main social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and have more than 100 million followers spread all over the world. 433 is the biggest football community on the planet, and stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Haaland and Neymar follow the page and like our content.
433 has its headquarters in Amsterdam but we are not always all at the office; actually, that is very rare. Content creators are traveling very often to attend the best football matches in the world, interview the best players and work with the biggest football leagues. Moreover, 433 was able to find and hire the best graphic designers in Europe and America. Some of the edits made by them are now famous worldwide. What I like the most about 433 is its mission: “Positively impacting the world, through football”. This means that only positive content is shared on the different 433 platforms and that’s why players, clubs, federations, and leagues are willing to work with us.
Regarding my role in the company, I’m working in the partnerships department. My boss, Anton, has been working at 433 for 10 years now. He started when 433 was just a small Twitter page and participated to the exponential growth of the company until it became the first in the industry. During the last few months, I took contact and set up meetings with new potential partners. More specifically, I contacted all the Serie A teams and LaLiga teams with which 433 didn’t have deals yet. Real Sociedad, Bologna and Spezia are just a few examples. During the meetings, I proposed content partnerships as well as commercial ones. With Spezia and Real Sociedad, we also organized player takeovers. Alex Remiro (Real Sociedad) and Emmanuel Gyasi (Spezia) took over the 433 Instagram account for one day to show their typical day to the audience. It was an incredible experience to work so closely with clubs and football players. Well, at 433 being involved in cool projects happens on a daily basis. In fact, I was also invited by Sam Van Raalte to the 433 podcast, in which I participated as an A.C. Milan correspondent for the Champions League games.
Overall, working at 433 was an incredible experience. Working closely with talented people and with famous hosts such as Metecan Kanbur was very motivating and challenging. If you breathe football and you are looking for an innovative and successful company, 433 is the right place for you!
